Aerolux vintage neon bulb

This lightbulb was a cheap gimmick by an early lightbulb company to generate excitment and brand loyalty. Inside is Argon, typically a welding gas, to generate the purple glow on shaped tungsten filament. Boron reacts to the purple neon creating a green glow. They now go for hundred of dollars in antique markets
