At a whopping 6.5ft wingspan, this is the largest kit in the collection. The fully assembled pack weighs less than 12lbs. Relaxed wings collapse down to 24″ wide, easily fitting through standard doorways. As with all wing kits, the system is gravity operated, and the collapsed position is the default. Similarly, the wings are sprung to hold themselves flat against the back, open or closed, but gentle pressure will allow them to swing backwards. This prevents knocks and bumps from damaging the armature or the user, which helps as the full width can take a while to get used to! They are opened by a bike brake and cable system, animated by the a squeeze of the wearer’s hand.
